After years in real estate you think you’ve seen it all… and then the house comes with cats. 🐈‍⬛😂
Just a couple of the wildest things I’ve encountered during closings over the years.

1️⃣st time: The Elusive Cats 🐈
Sellers couldn’t catch them before closing. These were barn cats of course.
So the new mission: Realtor + live traps.
My Buyers, armed with canned tuna & borrowed live traps caught one right away…
The other? 🐈‍⬛
He stayed undercover for a full month before finally being apprehended.

2️⃣nd time: The Inherited Cats 🐈
When my Sellers purchased the house many years ago,
the previous owner had passed away & left their outdoor cats behind.
But honestly…
They turned out to be legendary mousers. 🐭
The neighborhood loved them so much they built little shelters and everyone put out food & water. They were community cats!
Spoiler, they left them for the new Buyers.

Real estate is never boring! 🏡✨
