Having grown up and settled her own family in Middle TN, Madison has been involved in many aspects of her community. She has taught in schools, teaches dance to local youth, and has volunteered hundreds of hours to various local non-profits. She approaches real estate with an honest, authentic, and energetic perspective— striving to provide her clients with care while also recognizing the uniquely fun experience buying or selling a home can provide. She is acutely aware of the Greater Nashville area and can help you find your dream home and maximize your return on your investment when selling your home.

LOCAL BUSINESS OF THE DAY:

I stumbled across an artist the other day named Gina Jackson-McCoy. She had posted some of her work on a page that I follow and I was immediately in love! She recently moved to Middle TN from Kansas City and is building her business here. She is really passionate about her art and says that she creates because she FEELS, and I can totally see that in her work! I love the texture and emotion in each piece I’ve seen of hers. She does custom work, as well as prints, so just tell her what you want and she’ll do it! I’m still trying to figure out what I’ll commission her to do for me, but I know I NEED something of hers hanging in my home. ❤️

ROOM OF THE DAY:

I’m beginning a new project where I’ll be going to homes of my community members and photographing their favorite room in an effort to give you guys ideas and tips on how to best decorate your home! If you’d like for me to come photograph one of your rooms, please reach out to me! I’d love to chat and get to know you and your personal style. Decorating is one of my favorite things! And it’s just one of the fun and rewarding things that comes along with homeownership!

First, we have my favorite room at my new house. I’ve been here a few months, but this room was at the top of my to-do list before my newest little one got here. This is my sitting room/library. I’m not completely convinced I’m done decorating it, but I love it nonetheless. Nearly everything in this room was sourced from antique shops or other community members. I have several Phil Ponder prints (a well-known Nashville artist), as well as an original Thomas Lanier painting (another Nashville artist). On top of my bookshelf is a painting of my grandpa from when he was in the Navy and it is certainly my favorite piece. I’m also OBSESSED with my antique mirror that I acquired from a friend. This room brings me so much peace with the soft lighting and my favorite paint color (Shade-Grown by Sherwin Williams) and when I bring my baby in here, he instantly falls asleep. This room is also a testament to the fact that you can make something nice and unique to your style on a budget! I rarely buy new— it’s a complete waste to me.
