What a seller taught me during a listing appointment today... 👇
I met with a homeowner who had lived in their home for more than 20 years. As we walked through the house, they shared the memories behind each room, project, and improvement.
Then they said something that really stuck with me:
"I keep looking at this house through my eyes, not through a buyer's eyes."
🏡 That's one of the biggest challenges sellers face.
When you've lived in a home for years, it's easy to focus on the memories and everything you've invested in it. Buyers, however, are seeing it for the first time and imagining their own future there.
The sellers who can step back and view their home through a buyer's perspective often sell faster and with fewer obstacles.
What's a lesson you've learned that completely changed the way you looked at something?
I'd love to hear it.
