Here’s what that means for you.

If you’re buying:
Check new construction. If you want a deal, that’s where the deals are right now. It may make a house in reach for you.

If you’re selling:
You’re not just competing with other sellers. You’re competing with builders who are offering thousands in incentives. Your home has to stand out with price, presentation, condition, or concessions.
