Our latest TrailMarco adventure took us deep into the swamp trails of Richloam Wildlife Management Area—where the mud is relentless, the water looks shallow until it isn’t, and every cypress knee is a reminder that nature doesn’t care how new your tires are.

There were winches, there were rescues, there was grilled ribeye behind the Jeep under the shade of massive oaks. We crossed the Little Withlacoochee River, navigated knee-deep waterlogged trails, and still managed to laugh through every axle-deep mistake.

If you’ve ever wondered what off-roading in Florida really looks like—this is it. Mud, teamwork, scenery, recovery, and a reminder that sometimes the best trails are the ones that push back.
