The more you know:

To maintain a real estate license, agents are required to complete continuing education every year in every state they’re licensed in.

The difference is *what kind* of education they choose.

I don’t chase classes just to check a box. I focus on education that helps me solve real-world problems for my clients and stay ahead of what’s actually happening in the market.

Today’s CE focus: non-traditional financing options.

Why does that matter to sellers?

Because buyers today are coming to the table with ALL kinds of financing structures, grant programs, rural development loans, creative lending products, rate buydowns, renovation loans, and down payment assistance programs.

And if the listing agent doesn’t understand how those work, good opportunities get missed… or perfectly good deals fall apart.

My job isn’t just putting a sign in the yard and hoping for the best.

My job is understanding:
• which financing types fit your property
• how to position your home to attract the strongest buyers
• how to spot red flags before they become problems
• how to negotiate terms that actually get you to the closing table
• and how to keep complicated deals together when things get weird (because real estate always gets weird 😅)

The best listing agents don’t just market homes.
They understand buyers, financing, negotiation strategy, and problem-solving at a high level.

That’s the stuff that protects your money and gets deals closed.

(And yes… this is also why FSBO transactions occasionally turn into an episode of Survivor with paperwork.)
