Today, we are celebrating the closing of 42-44 Potomac St in Williamsport. This one definitely earned the “wild transaction” award 🤣

The transaction itself went smoothly for quite a while, but the last couple weeks brought appraisal issues, roof concerns, payoff delays, financing pressure, and plenty of last-minute moving pieces to navigate.

And in true real estate fashion, I was notified 31 minutes before closing that the notary would not be showing up.

Deals like this are a reminder that real estate is about much more than putting a sign in the yard. Sometimes it means solving problems in real time, staying calm under pressure, and fighting aggressively for your clients to keep a transaction together and get everyone to the closing table.

One thing I’ve realized very quickly in real estate is that time in the industry does not automatically make someone a good agent.

There are agents who have been doing this for 20+ years who are completely checked out. They know how to get a deal to closing, but that does not always mean they are actually invested in the deal or truly advocating for their clients the way they should be.

I care. A lot. Honestly probably too much sometimes, but that’s just who I am.

Anyone who knows me personally knows I am NOT a half-hearted person. I answer my phone. I stay on top of things. I pay attention to details. I ask the questions and get the answers. I do not disappear for days on end and leave you wondering what is going on.

I actually had a client who used to be an agent herself tell me she was shocked I answered the phone the first time she called me. That stuck with me. Apparently answering the phone is a rare skill now 😂

Because at the end of the day, these are real people making huge life decisions. This is not just paperwork to me.

I really do love what I do.

And yeah, I get it done.
