Some closings are about so much more than signing papers.
After 39 years of calling this house home, today was finally the day to say goodbye. This wasn’t just a house. It was where a family was raised, holidays were celebrated, milestones were reached, and countless memories were made.
The market recognized how special this home was, too. It went under contract in one weekend with multiple offers and ultimately sold for over asking price. That was an incredible outcome, but as anyone who’s been through a real estate transaction knows, getting to the closing table is sometimes a journey all its own.
This journey came with plenty of emotions, unexpected twists, and some difficult decisions along the way. But today, we made it to the closing table.
I am incredibly grateful for the trust this family placed in me throughout the process. It was an honor to walk alongside them during such an important chapter of their lives.
While it’s bittersweet to close the door on so many years of memories, there’s something beautiful about knowing this well loved home is ready for its next chapter. Soon another family will fill these rooms with laughter, celebrations, and memories of their own.
