21 on Monday. Homeowner on Friday. 🏡🔑

Some people celebrate turning 21 with a night out.

Jonathan celebrated by buying his first home!

Just a few days after his 21st birthday, Jonathan closed on his very first house, and I couldn’t be more excited for him. It’s always rewarding helping first-time homebuyers, but it’s especially fun when you get to work with a young person who has such a clear vision for his future. 😃

Instead of continuing to rent, Jonathan made the decision to invest in himself, build equity, and create a foundation for the years ahead. Buying a home at any age is a huge accomplishment, and doing it at 21 is something to be proud of.

I also want to give a shoutout to his mom and family who were there every step of the way. It’s always special to see families supporting one another through major life milestones.

And of course, a big thank you to my business partner, Traci Harkin Everman with Flat Branch Home Loans! Traci and I have had the privilege of getting several clients to the closing table together, and I’m always grateful to have her by my side through the lending side of the process.

Friendly reminder from your local Realtor:

Big congratulations to my amazing clients on BOTH sides of the river! 🏡✨

We successfully closed on their Missouri home and got them into their Illinois home the very same day. A true double closing!

On the selling side, we had an incredible outcome with multiple offers and ultimately sold above list price with no repairs or other concessions 🙌
On the buying side, we were able to negotiate some helpful concessions that made their transition that much smoother.

This one had a lot of moving parts, a few unexpected challenges, and plenty of coordination behind the scenes. It definitely did not just fall into place. It took strategy, constant communication, and a lot of problem solving along the way. My clients were fantastic throughout the process, staying flexible, trusting the plan, and handling every hurdle with patience.

Transactions like this are a great reminder of how important experience and guidance can be when things get complicated. I am so glad we were able to navigate it all together and get them exactly where they needed to be.

Two quick highlights from this past week 🙌

The first one (that ranch) officially closed and it was a fun one. 61 showings, 16 offers, and a final price $46,500 over list! Huge congratulations to my sellers for trusting the process and handling it all like pros 👏

The second one hit the market Friday and was under contract by Monday with multiple offers, exactly the kind of momentum we were aiming for.

Moments like these are a good reminder that strategy, timing, and presentation really matter in this market.

We sold her home last week…and today she got the keys to the next chapter. 🔑❤️

Watching how excited Jackie is to start fresh in a place that truly fits her and her family has been the best part of this entire journey. This move represents so much more than just a house — it’s a new beginning, new memories, and a space to grow.

Kiddo definitely understood the assignment today with the key pose. 🤩 One of the smartest and most fun little guys I’ve met.
