It is with profound sadness that we learned of the heartbreaking loss of Christine McWilliams, her daughter McKinley McWilliams, and Sgt. Scott Ries.
On behalf of everyone at Howard Hanna, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to their families, friends, coworkers, and all who knew and loved them.
No family should ever have to endure a loss like this. Our hearts are especially heavy for the loved ones of Christine and McKinley, and we continue to keep Sgt. Ries’ family and the entire law enforcement community in our thoughts as they navigate this unimaginable tragedy.
During times like these, we are reminded that life is precious, tomorrow is never promised, and the strength of a community is found in how we come together to support one another.
Please join the Howard Hanna family in lifting these families up in prayer. May they find comfort, strength, and peace in the love that surrounds them during the difficult days ahead.

We are devastated by the heartbreaking loss of one of our beloved team members and, more importantly, our friend. Christie McWilliams was truly a ray of light. She always had a smile on her face, brought joy to those around her, and was an incredible part of our team. Our hearts ache for her family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved her, and her beautiful daughter McKinley.
We also want to extend our deepest sympathy and gratitude to the family and friends of Sgt. Scott Ries. for his service and sacrifice.
