A native of Piedmont, California, I attended college in Chico and spent the first seven years following graduation working in marketing with a specialty in aging demographics. But having grown up as the daughter of a real estate developer, this business is in my blood; you could say that I was raised on “brick and mortar.” In 1995, I began my career as a Real Estate Agent with Elmwood Realty and I
nvestments in Berkeley – mastering the art of both residential and investment sales – in the highly regulated Bay Area communities. My talents were recognized when, in 2005, I was offered the opportunity to become the owner of Elmwood Realty. In the interim my family relocated to the Anderson Valley from the East Bay 20 years ago when they purchased the Ferrington Vineyard, I continued build my brokerage in Berkeley. I met my husband during a visit to Mendocino 7 years ago, sold my business to s SF based real estate firm and relocated shortly after we married. I joined Mendo Realty and brought with me a solid background in both residential and commercial sales, as well as a unique understanding of the Bay-area buyer. I chose to affiliate with Mendo Realty of their history, their reputation and the similar values we shared. My instinct for real estate is innate. My success, while drawing on that instinct, is also due, in large part, to the tremendous enthusiasm I have for this business, the empathy I have for my clients, and my drive to help each one reach his or her goal. For my buyers, my insight, creative problem-solving skills and diplomacy have helped me land many of them their dream homes in the midst of a competitive market place. For my sellers, my attention to detail, eye for design, and the relationships I have built over the years with key players in the industry have added value to their homes and investments, and as a result, enabled me to exceed their expectations. In working with each client, I am absolutely dedicated to spending the time necessary to showcase their property in its best light. I believe that magic is created when a committed buyer or seller is matched with a focused agent who leaves no stone unturned. In addition to real estate, I also act as a “vineyard ambassador” for our family vineyard and support my husband with his property, the Brewery Gulch Inn. In 2012 my husband and I embarked on a multi-generational adventure and started our own wine label, Fathers and Daughters Cellars – exploring three of the best things in life: fathers, daughters, and wine.
