A successful aquatic project is engineered long before construction begins.

This 3D equipment model is part of the technical design process our team uses to transform design intent into a coordinated, buildable system. CPS Outdoors provides in-house design and engineering capabilities that include:

• 3D and BIM equipment-room modeling
• Hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing and system-flow planning
• Pump, filtration, heating, treatment and control-system coordination
• Plumbing routing and pe*******on planning
• Equipment spacing, service clearance and maintenance access
• Clash detection and coordination with structural, architectural and MEP plans
• Constructability reviews and detailed installation documentation

Modeling the complete system allows us to evaluate how every component will fit, connect, operate and be serviced before work begins in the field. It also gives architects, engineers and general contractors a clearer view of the system—helping resolve conflicts earlier and reducing costly changes during construction.

30 floors above Miami, one of seven pools we’re building at the Waldorf Astoria Miami is beginning to take shape.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, but even at this stage, it’s easy to see what will make this pool so special. The setting, the height, and those uninterrupted views across Miami create a backdrop that is hard to match.

Building pools at this level comes with an entirely different set of challenges. Every detail has to be carefully coordinated with the surrounding structure, building systems, access, logistics, and the many teams working throughout the tower.

This is just one piece of a much larger scope for CPS Outdoors at Waldorf Astoria Residences Miami, where our team is responsible for the construction of seven pools throughout the development.

This massive multi-piece stainless steel pool installation in Bay Harbor Islands is the kind of project that pushes our team to think differently. Every lift, every connection, and every detail has to be executed with absolute precision. There are no second chances when you’re setting components of this size into place.

It’s exactly these types of challenges that drive us.

For this custom estate on Sunset Island, our most requested Murano Series color mosaic, "Rich Forest” class the entire swimming pool, spa, and clod plunge — a deep, luminous natural green that mirrors the water and the lush grounds surrounding it.
