And those certain people truly change the course of your life - because you realize what is possible through the lens of someone who’s been through it. So if you’re feeling lost about the “why” behind what you’re building, know that someone might be watching and need the proof they can do it too.

Do’s and Don’ts of buying your first investment property in 30 seconds - I learned these the hard way at 19 as a freshman in college:

DON’T wait until you feel ready. Get uncomfortable early and figure it out as you go.

DO buy for cash flow so that appreciation is the cherry on top.

DON’T fall in love with how a house looks If the rent doesn’t cover the mortgage, taxes, insurance, and still leave you with something, walk away.

DO buy somewhere you actually know and have an edge in that other investors might not.

Yeah it’s all over the place. Interviewing real estate investors has been super rewarding. Not only do I get to connect and learn from them, but I can now share it with young people who might not get the chance to be in the same room as them.
