🏠 Foreclosure Auctions in Miami — What Investors Need to Know 💡 What Every Flipper Should Know 🏠
Thinking about investing in foreclosure properties?
Here’s a quick guide on how it really works in Miami-Dade County 👇
🔹 1️⃣ Register to Bid
Create your account on the official Miami-Dade foreclosure auction site and join the investor list. You’ll need to register in advance and place a 5% deposit before auction day to qualify.
🔹 2️⃣ Do Your Research
Each property is sold as-is, with no interior access before the auction.
That means you must check liens, title records, and neighborhood comps ahead of time. Knowledge is your protection.
🔹 3️⃣ The Auction
Bidding happens online. The highest bidder wins — but that win only counts when the balance (minus your deposit) is paid by 2 PM the next business day. If you miss the deadline, you lose the deposit.
🔹 4️⃣ After You Win
Once full payment is received, the clerk issues a Certificate of Sale, then a Certificate of Title about 10 days later.
That’s when you officially own the property.
🔹 5️⃣ Why It Matters
These auctions can be incredible opportunities to build wealth — but only if you understand the process.
Preparation and guidance make all the difference.
