As part of , ShowMojo CEO, Vanessa Anderson, shared how a role model changed the trajectory of her life just by showing her it’s possible to succeed in the male-dominated real estate industry.

That role model was one of only two women who has ever interviewed Vanessa for a job throughout her 18-year career. Just two.

Many women in property management have the same experience. Ask them and they’ll tell you it can be hard to find women in leadership and decision-making positions they can look up to as role models and take on as mentors.

But the Blanket team knows for a fact that there are tons of women in property management who would make great role models and mentors, they just need to be brought to the forefront!

That’s why we partnered with the Women’s Council on the program.

So proud of my guy Christian Sargent for putting in the work to get East Tennessee property managers connected to 🩷🖤

With Nashville being the closest chapter, East TN PMs don’t have practical access to a NARPM chapter. Christian and Madeline Vinson want to change that!

They’ve formed a NARPM networking group and are close to meeting the criteria to become an official chapter.

They need 35 members total and a national member to serve as president to qualify. They’ve already organized several meetups to recruit members. And McKee has stepped up as president. They're this close 👌

They’re putting on a Lunch & Learn next week in Clinton. If you know a PM in East TN who needs NARPM, send them the registration link! 🙏

And because it’s so precious, it’s hard to let other people hold it. But sometimes that’s the best choice for the business.

It takes a lot of guts to recognize the skills you lack and hand over important functions to people who do have the skills.
