I don't always feel motivated.
I have weeks where deals fall apart, conversations go sideways, and the only win is showing up.

What I lean on when it gets quiet:
• I do the next right thing... even if it's small.
• I check in with the people who matter... not the metrics.
• I remember WHY I started this in the first place.

Growth isn't a straight line. It's a refusal to quit.

1. Stabilize the personal house. Don't skip this.
2. Build a small cash reserve — enough to survive 6 months of vacancy.
3. Find ONE strategic acquisition. Cash flow + appreciation. Don't get fancy.
4. Refinance, recycle, repeat.

This isn't glamorous. It's not a TikTok strategy.
It's the one that actually builds wealth.

My Biggest Takeaway From A Land Deal This Week.

Closed a land deal.

The seller's first thought: 'just take the cash offer and be done.'
The strategic move: hold for 90 days, meet with my civil engineer, surveyor, and local zoning department to determine the highest and best use for the property.
Postition the property appropriately.

Difference between the two paths? Six figures.

Land doesn't need to be 'sold.' It needs to be POSITIONED.

MOST PEOPLE MAKE THE WRONG MOVE IN REAL ESTATE.

Three of the most expensive moves I see:

1. Overpricing to 'test the market.'
→ You don't test the market. The market tests YOU.

2. Listing before you have clarity on the goal.
→ You can't sell to a destination you haven't picked.

3. Hiring the agent who tells you what you want to hear.
→ You don't need a yes-man. You need a straight shooter.

Every day.

Everything I Know About Serving People — I Learned From Her… Yup, Momma D. aka- Donna Rae Riddell.

Today's not about real estate. It’s about Moms.

It's about the women who taught us how to actually show up for people.
Mine taught me to do what I say I'll do, be honest, care about the needs of others.
She taught me to do the right thing.

She raised me right. She taught me to go to church, pray, and not to do anything Jesus wouldn’t do:).

That's not a marketing line. That's a lesson I never forgot... and think about it on a day like today.
