Affordable Housing Fun Fact 💡

Did you know that qualifying for affordable housing isn't just about income?

We also have to verify things like household size, assets, student status, and other eligibility requirements.

That's why we sometimes ask for documents that seem unrelated or repetitive. We're not trying to make life difficult. We're required to verify specific information to make sure the program rules are followed.

Trust us... sometimes the paperwork feels like a lot on our side too! 😊📂

Yesterday, our team traded desks and meetings for movement, laughter, and a little friendly competition at United Group's annual Wellness Fair! 💙

One of my favorite parts of the day wasn't any single activity. It was seeing colleagues from across the company, including leadership, jump in, have fun, and connect with one another.

For those of us in property management, it's easy to become an island, focused on the day-to-day responsibilities at our own communities. Events like this are a great reminder that we're part of something bigger.

Whether we were striking a yoga pose, trying our hand at plastic axe throwing, or simply catching up with coworkers we usually only see on a screen, the day was filled with encouragement, teamwork, and plenty of laughs.

Grateful to work for a company that values wellness, collaboration, and investing in its people. 😊

A recent visit to Kelder's Farm brought home some beautiful berries and a reminder that summer has officially arrived. ☀️

Whether you enjoy them fresh, in a dessert, or with your favorite breakfast, strawberries are a seasonal favorite for many of us.

Last weekend, our Assistant Property Manager, Kathy, attended the Pets Alive Kitten Shower on behalf of Wallkill Living Center.

Pets Alive is a local no-kill animal rescue dedicated to providing care, shelter, and adoption opportunities for animals in need. The Kitten Shower helped collect much-needed donations to support kittens and other animals currently in their care.

We were proud to support this wonderful organization and the important work they do in our community. A special thank you to Kathy and her family for their generous donation and for representing Wallkill Living Center at the event.
