I’m honored to share that I was recognized as the 2026 Edward King House Senior Center Champion for Seniors at the Newport Mayor’s Luncheon at the Wyndham Hotel on Wednesday, June 17.
Volunteering at the Edward King House is a truly meaningful experience, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to support such an incredible organization and the wonderful seniors it serves. The connections, conversations, and friendships built along the way are the greatest reward.

I’m so happy I joined this meaningful conversation.

If you are friends with me, you should be aware of my sentiments regarding Veterans so I am bringing it up. I am fairly confident that I already know two individuals who will assist, but I am hopeful that I will receive more responses, as this is a pressing concern.

Newport County Market Update - May 2026
The spring market across Newport, Portsmouth, and Middletown continues to gain momentum as we head into the summer season.
📈 Inventory increased with 175 homes available for sale in May, up from 172 in April, giving buyers more options to explore.
🏡 New listings remained strong with 87 properties hitting the market, reflecting continued seller confidence across Aquidneck Island.
🤝 Closed sales increased by nearly 23%, rising from 48 in April to 59 in May, a sign that well-priced homes continue to attract motivated buyers.
⏱️ Homes sold in an average of just 40 days, highlighting steady demand and a competitive market environment.
💰 Average sale prices remained strong, with Newport leading the way at nearly $1.5 million, while Portsmouth also experienced price growth compared to the previous month.
