This week we were able to update our growing list of the different types of properties we service.

This one's a vacant lot that needs help being maintained.

It's easy to forget about a property like this with so many in the portfolio.

No one coming and going, or complaints demanding attention. But that's exactly when the trash starts to pile up in silence.

Parking lots and commercial buildings go through phases while switching ownership.

You don't want to leave it and let it collect trash while there isn't much activity.

With this one out of commission for now, we're happy to step in and keep it clean and ready.

Guess they liked how everything went last time.

They reached out about another cleanout.

Around this time last year we visited an apartment complex in Oak Creek to knock on the property manager's door to sell our litter removal service.

Luckily she was in and we had a nice conversation about the business.

We didn't set up any litter contracts, but she asked if we could get rid of the junk left by the dumpster corrals around the property.

Fast forward to now we have been servicing this apartment about once a month for just junk removal, until now.

They reached out to us and asked if we would clean out a vacant apartment, so we said why not.

I'd say it turned out well, and the comfortable room temperature was a nice change of scenery.

Glad she was there that day.

A mattress and pallets. All tucked behind an office building.

We don't ask how it got there. We just haul it away.

Things get left behind garbage corrals and thrown behind buildings over time. Stuff like this builds up slowly, properties change hands and then nobody wants to deal with it.

Eventually it just becomes part of the scenery.

If you haven't walked your property this year, it might be a good idea.

We added a new type of property to our one time cleans list.

It's a Semi-Truck trailer lot.

Last week we spent more than two days cleaning it up.

There were layers of trash piled on top of each other and underneath cardboard.

Which isn't exactly great for estimating the job time.

It was a great learning experience.

Onto the next!

My partner and I find ourselves doing a lot of weekend work.

Which can be fun,

but also a challenge when there is weather like Southeastern Wisconsin had this past week.

We had three one-time cleans lined up for the weekend.

One of the jobs is much bigger then the other two,

so we wanted to get ahead of the workload to free up some weekend time.

We went out to one of the smaller ones on Wednesday to get it done.

It went smooth and we had everything packed up ready to be dumped

until a thunderstorm rolled in right before we got everything unloaded.

We were unloading everything as lightning and thunder were ripping across the sky.

Truly a great time to be standing next to a pile of metal equipment.

It didn't free up much time for the weekend anyway.

But honestly, 10 out of 10 would do it again.

Litter removal is our top priority.

But sometimes our clients need more than that.

These photos are from a recent full cleanup we did at a contractor facility.

We cleared out all of the junk, leftover materials from the last tenants, and helped get the property looking the way it should.

Now we service the property weekly to keep it maintained, and when unwanted stuff shows up, we’re there to help handle that too.

It looks great and everyone loves it when its falling and how it looks perfectly untouched.

Then the first plow and footsteps makes some spots look grey and wet.

To then finally leave behind what looks like the remains of a dumpster fire with wet sludge.
