Sette Colli means "Seven Hills," a nod to our home city of Rome, Italy. Stefano is from Rome, Italy where he worked in residential and commercial interior remodeling alongside his father and uncle, renovating the homes of movie actors and television personalities and the retail stores of Italy's most famous fashion designers. Upon moving to Minnesota in 2001, Stefano worked as a foreman for Grazzi
ni Bros. & Company, overseeing natural stone and marble installations on commercial projects ranging from the Minnesota State Capitol to the Mall of America and Target Field, and in high-end residential homes and apartment buildings. In 2012, Stefano's interior stone work on the Lakewood Cemetery Garden Mausoleum won the Marble Institute of America's Grande Pinnacle Award. Cara’s path to home remodeling and real estate began in Rome, Italy, where she lived and worked for nearly a decade and where she and Stefano met, married and started their family. Living in one of the world’s most beautiful and ancient cities left her with a deep appreciation of design, style and craftsmanship. Always fans of houses and home design, Stefano and Cara renovated their house in Rome themselves, and then did it all over again after moving to Minneapolis. Since then, they've had fun rehabbing and re-selling the occasional investment property. In 2019, Cara decided to pursue her passion for real estate full time and obtained her realtor's license. She loves helping homeowners create a home they love through interior renovations and design. Sette Colli means "Seven Hills," a reference to the seven hills upon which Rome was built. The name evokes the beauty, sense of place, and artisan spirit of that ancient city we call home.
