You know Destin. You may even know Crystal Beach.
But there’s a good chance you haven’t had lunch at all three of these places — and that’s exactly why we went looking.
We spent some time around Crystal Beach photographing three very different lunch stops, each with its own personality. One puts you practically on the sand with Gulf views stretching past the dunes. Another feels like the neighborhood cafe you wish every beach town had. The third brings a laid-back, surfy energy with a casual cafe downstairs and an open-air spot upstairs.
And the food? Fish tacos, stacked sandwiches, iced coffee, fresh coastal flavors, and the kind of lunch that somehow tastes better when you can still see the Gulf.
Our three stops:
•Cantina Beach Bar at Henderson Park Inn — beachfront, relaxed and all about the view.
•Camille’s Cafe — a longtime Crystal Beach favorite just steps from Scenic Highway 98.
•Sandos Beachside — casual, colorful and one of those places that feels like a find.
We photographed all three and put together a closer look at what makes each one worth trying.
