Right now we have power at the office, but we understand power has been an issue for the valley. Please be safe and patient with this crazy weather!

The Missoula Police Department is advising the public of hazardous conditions throughout the Missoula area due to strong and gusty winds impacting the region. These high winds are creating dangerous conditions, including reduced vehicle control, blowing debris, and the potential for downed trees and power lines.
We are asking community members to only travel if absolutely necessary. If you are able to delay travel, please do so to help keep yourself and others safe and to reduce the demand on emergency responders.
If travel cannot be avoided, please use extra caution by:
Reducing speed
Being alert for debris in roadways
Watching for downed trees, power lines, and damaged traffic signals
Avoiding parking near trees or unstable structures
Limiting unnecessary travel during high wind events helps prevent injuries and property damage while allowing first responders to focus on critical calls.
Never touch anything (including a tree) that may be in contact with power lines. Report downed power lines immediately to NorthWestern Energy: 888-467-2669.
For emergencies, call 911. For non-emergency assistance, contact Missoula Police Department at (406) 552-6300.
