A little birdy told me rates were in the 5s!!!! 😱🤯 Remember the saying, date the rate and marry the house? 🏡 For everyone who has been waiting on rates to drop, it’s time to get married. 🥳

Why? Because historically the lower the rates drop, the higher the prices will go. Insert competition and bidding wars, closing costs not being paid by sellers etc. 😬 BUT…we aren’t there just yet! We are in a lovely place place right now where prices are still affordable, we have plenty of inventory, and rates are declining. Soooo… don’t wait!!!! Happy Monday folks!!! 😘 I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Mine was pretty crazy - I had 3 buyers put in offers on homes and all 3 accepted! 🙈😱 Also a new listing that went live all at the same time! 🙈 I’m very thankful for my transaction coordinator, Sterling Pryor Weller who immediately jumped in when I texted her I had 3 new pendings at the same time. 🙌 It’s not uncommon to have 3-4 pendings in the same month (I’ve had up to 13 in the spring 😂) but it is a little nuts to have 3 put in offers on the exact same day! 🤪 Negotiations require a lot of back and forth communication between parties along with the schedules of multiple people. 🙃 Some on night shift, some living in different time zones etc. You have to have patience, grit, and a lot of coffee. 🙌 Kris saw me at my laptop at midnight and goes “is anyone even up right now and what could you possibly be getting done so late that can’t wait until morning?!” My response was: “Babe, there’s multiple offers here and we need to win. “ We did in fact end up winning! Happy to get all these folks to the closing table while I navigate my current contracts and listings! Let’s do this!!!! 💪💪💪💪

Agent Spotlight: Real Estate, Resilience, and a Whole Lot of Heart
Before real estate, I was an English major who briefly taught high school—and later became an Account Executive for a collector car insurance company. I had the privilege of working events across the country like the Concours d’Elegance at Pebble Beach, CA and Amelia Island, FL, but I craved more flexibility for my family and a career where I could call the shots.
When my husband (a now-retired Coast Guard veteran) received orders to Mobile, I knew it was time. With two small boys, a full-time job, and a brand-new city, I dove into real estate—and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
I owe so much to my sister Felicia Waller, a top-producing agent who believed in me and mentored me through the transition. Along the way, I’ve been blessed with incredible support from my family, my brokerage, and amazing mentors like Samantha Fleming, who stayed on Zoom late into the night to help me succeed.
What’s kept me going?
I chose 3 areas to master: networking, social media, and open houses.
I learned to “choose my hard” and never give up—especially when life gets overwhelming.
And I remind myself not to compare my journey to others. We all start somewhere.
I’m proud to say I’ve already closed 20 homes this year, with a goal of 25—and we’re only halfway through 2025! Next year, I hope to expand into Mississippi to help even more families, especially near military bases like Keesler AFB.
I’m a wife, a mom, a military spouse, and a proud MRP (Military Relocation Professional). I served as President of the Coast Guard Mobile Area Spouses Club, advocated for families, met with U.S. Senators, and was honored as Aviation Training Center Spouse of the Year.
Outside of real estate, I love to run, read, sing, travel, and be near the water—and I’m so grateful to call Mobile, AL home.
