Continuous slow rain fills-up your gutters fast and pushes all the debris, leaves and pine needles straight to the openings, that are cut into the bottom of your gutters (During Installation) and clogges them in a matter of minutes! Then the water rises to the top of your gutters and starts over flowing and will continue to over flow until the rain stops! The gutter, water and debris weight combined; can average upto 12 lbs. in 1 ft. length of gutter. So if one of your gutters on your home is 40 ft. long...then you could have upto 480 lbs. of weight pressing your gutters down! Causing damage to your gutters and slowly pulling the nails or hidden hanger loose from the fascia! Breaking and falling gutters are very possible and will cause damage to windows, siding and objects that might get hit underneath!
