Serving as President of the Union County Association of REALTORS has been such a rewarding part of my year.

Last week was a perfect example. Thanks to the leadership of our Fair Housing/DEI Committee Chair, Sonya Marshall, UCAR hosted a Fair Housing CE class for our members—completely complimentary. Even more special, the class was taught by one of our own, UCAR member and Past President Tiikola McCree!

🏡🀄 Confession… my real estate world and my mahjong world are officially colliding — and I’m here for it.

For years I’ve helped clients think about layout, flow, and how a home feels. Now I’m watching one of my favorite hobbies show up in home design conversations across Charlotte — dedicated mahjong rooms, social lounges, and spaces built for connection instead of just formality.

Maybe it’s not really about the game… maybe it’s about what the game represents: community, laughter, slowing down, and creating a home that brings people together.
