The Montclair Justice Coalition was founded in October 2016 to bring together the full diversity of residents to work towards a hometown that benefits all of its residents. The kind of place people move to for a better life. For some residents, daily reality is more complicated. Issues of race and class persist and affect many facets of life here--from housing and schools to commerce and police r
elations--but are not acknowledged or perceived by many of us. These conditions are not unique to Montclair, but that does not excuse inaction. Wonderful as our town is in so many respects, we can make it better. The Montclair Justice Coalition invites the public to join in honest disucssion with their neighbors, to identify neglected problems and their solutions, and to act. We want and need your input.
