Following the birth of my daughter Cayden, who had multiple disabilities, I became an advocate for parents of children with disabilities and managed online support groups for those parents. Although Cayden is no longer with us, her 14-year life taught me invaluable lessons in resilience, hard work and determination. My oldest, following in her moms foot steps, got involved in competitive softball at an early age. Of course, that naturally meant her dad and I would coach her team. I was also very active in 4-H for many years, first as a youth and then again as a parent. Those were some great times bonding with family and making lifelong friends. I am confident that my drive and dedication will serve me well in real estate, where I aim to emulate Cayden’s life of working hard, remaining resilient and never giving up.
