Update on our personal land purchase ❤️🌳

We decided to go another direction and there were a few things we just couldn’t settle on…like the distance for our work & convenience for everyday errands. It was such a beautiful property but at the end of the day and in this stage in our life, it just wasn’t OUR land!

We are now continuing our search and will find the right place for us! This is a perfect example of what we tell our clients! We believe everything works out how it it supposed to and God has a plan! We still plan to find a lot/land to build on but we will see what the future holds! Thank you for all of your support!

I can’t describe into words how incredible Tom Cox Jr Custom Homes is!!! Their work is done with perfection and I have NEVER seen a construction site that clean (at all times)! So excited for my family to move into this beautiful home they have dreamed about for so long! October is coming up very soon!! ✨🏡

We have been looking for the perfect spot to build our next home on and we finally found it in Montgomery, TX!! It’s just under 6 acres and full of beautiful trees and open pasture! We will post updates as we underbrush, clean it up and build! We are BEYOND excited to follow through with our dream since we met! It’s surreal that it’s finally happening!🤍

It’s a weird market right now! Price your home right to get it sold! Things are sitting for much longer right now and buyers have so many options.

🚨 HOUSTON JUST BROKE A REAL ESTATE RECORD!!

Houston now has 40,750 single-family homes for sale — the highest number ever recorded by HAR.

Yes. EVER!!

🏠 40,750 active listings
📈 5.5 months of inventory
⏳ Homes are taking longer to sell
💰 Median price: $340,000 — up just 0.6%
🔥 Meanwhile, $1M+ sales actually jumped 9.4%

So is the Houston housing market crashing?

No. But the seller’s market we got used to is gone.

Buyers have choices again. They can negotiate. They can ask for concessions. And if they don’t like your house or your price? They’ll go buy the one down the street.

The craziest part? People are still buying. Houston’s trailing 12-month sales have essentially returned to 2019 pre-pandemic levels.

The problem isn’t that nobody is buying.

It’s that sellers have WAY more competition.

Buyers: you may have more leverage right now than you’ve had in years.

Sellers: price it wrong or be unwilling to negotiate and this market will humble you quickly.
