Hi gardeners! So this is my official welcome to the 2024 garden season! I’d like to share a couple of important things.
1. First, we have a lot of new members; let’s welcome them!
2. I’ll be posting dates for online and in-person workshops next week. Check your calendars because I’d love to see as many of you in person as possible for seed swapping, seed starting, and a new workshop on…power tools! (For those of you who’d like to build raised beds and other structures in your garden)
3. A heartfelt thank you to all of you who have decided to join our group on Facebook farmers garden club. I see SO much bad behavior on social media and it seems to be getting worse, but not here! I’m deeply grateful for the kindness and respect you show each other here. In 3 years I’ve only had to remove 2 people and a couple of rude comments. I love how you support each other and share knowledge so freely. Thank for keeping this group and happy and uplifting place to learn about food and gardening. 🩷
