Churches United (CU) provides shelter, housing, and food support for men, women, and families experiencing homelessness in the Fargo-Moorhead area. CU works to address the root cause of homelessness by increasing incomes and connecting re

sidents to community services with the goal of increasing housing stability and preventing a return to shelter. Churches United relies heavily on its faith community partners for prayer, donations, and volunteers, and to meet its mission of providing safe shelter, stable housing, nutritious food, and a path toward healing for our neighbors in need. Volunteer Spotlight: Meet Jessica! Jessica has been working in a variety of volunteering roles. From working in the kitchen, sorting through clothing donations, or whatever else is asked of her.

Jess says she loves volunteering here because, “Just knowing that I am making a difference and I love meeting the people here. Everybody has a story and we all go through hard times. I love coming here it fills my heart.”

Thank you to Grand Farm for this incredible donation.

Moments like this demonstrate the power and compassion of our community and the great things that can happen when we find ways to give back to the greater good. This donation will literally help to feed thousands.

We’re excited to share a new partnership with Churches United: This season, a half-acre at the Grand Farm Innovation Campus will be planted to sweet corn, with the harvest being donated to support the incredible work Churches United does every day serving the surrounding community.

It’s a small way for us to support an organization that impacts thousands of lives across our region each year.

Spread Your Sunshine has been a unique, loyal, and radiant partner for us for five years now!

Their mission is " to create inclusive, joyful experiences for children and families facing challenges, ensuring every child feels valued, included, and empowered to shine."
