One of the things I’m most grateful for in this business is the opportunity it gives me to be involved in and give back to the community I love. ❤️

I’m proud to serve on the Board of Directors for the Carteret County Domestic Violence Program, and our 37th Annual Shop, Savor & Sip Luncheon & Fashion Show is coming up in November!

It’s always such a fun afternoon of shopping, lunch, fashion and friends but most importantly, it supports the critical work the Domestic Violence Program does for individuals and families right here in our community.

And there are several ways to be part of it! We’re currently looking for sponsors and vendors, in addition to guests who want to attend. If you own a local business or know one that would be a great fit, I’d love for you to consider getting involved.

Turns out date night is even better when carbs are involved. 🍝❤️

We traded our usual dinner out for a hands-on pasta-making night with Pony Up Pizza in Newport and I’m officially adding “make pasta from scratch” to the list of things that look way easier than they actually are. 🤌🏼

Good food, a few laughs, good w**e, and something a little different for date night. 10/10 would do again.

And yes… we absolutely ate every bit of it. 🤌🍝
