FloSight Droneworks was in the air capturing the grand opening of the Nathaniel Bell Innovation Center. We’ve actually been documenting this project from above since its inception, watching an empty site turn into the finished facility you see today.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be going back through those flights and sharing photos from different stages of construction so you can watch the project come together from the air.

For now, here’s a look at the finished product and opening day.

One of the last looks at Eudora Road before the new traffic circle takes shape.

The equipment is here, the dirt is moving, and this intersection is about to change in a big way.

We got out to Britt Road last week and the construction is well underway. The new roadway will include improved drainage, a new 48-inch stormwater pipe, underdrains, swales and erosion-control improvements designed to better handle future storms.

🚧 Current target for reopening: October 2026

A drive down Britt Rd

Take a trip down Britt "Road"... just don't expect to make it through.

This once-passable crossing now ends abruptly at a washout that swallowed sections of pavement, embankment, and drainage infrastructure. The aerial perspective reveals just how extensive the damage really is. We'll be monitoring the new construction as it comes along updates to follow.
