🚧 Britt Road Update – October 13, 2026

Britt Road survived the storms, and progress continues!

Fresh pavement, painted centerlines, and graded shoulders are now in place. Crews are still working on the drainage and retention areas, but the transformation over the past few weeks has been impressive.

Britt Road Update — 10/5/26 🚧

We’ve got pavement!

Crews were hard at work today on Britt Road, with fresh asphalt officially going down and plenty of activity throughout the project area. After months of watching this project take shape, it’s good to finally see some blacktop hitting the ground.

Here’s a look from above at today’s progress, including a timelapse of the paving operation.

We’ll keep following Britt Road through the finish line and bring you more updates as work continues.

Big changes at Hwy 19A & Eudora Rd. 🚧

Excavation, drainage work and roadway preparation are now well underway as the new roundabout begins to take shape.

Quite a difference from our photos in August.

9-20 Drive down Britt Road, Crews are much further along now and well be updating our drive soon.

Britt Road is on the mend. 🚧

Crews are working through high ground-water saturation while continuing to widen and rebuild the roadway. Despite the wet conditions, they're on track to begin paving within the next few days.

We'll be back in the air soon with another update.

FloSight Droneworks was in the air capturing the grand opening of the Nathaniel Bell Innovation Center. We’ve actually been documenting this project from above since its inception, watching an empty site turn into the finished facility you see today.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be going back through those flights and sharing photos from different stages of construction so you can watch the project come together from the air.

For now, here’s a look at the finished product and opening day.

One of the last looks at Eudora Road before the new traffic circle takes shape.

The equipment is here, the dirt is moving, and this intersection is about to change in a big way.

We got out to Britt Road last week and the construction is well underway. The new roadway will include improved drainage, a new 48-inch stormwater pipe, underdrains, swales and erosion-control improvements designed to better handle future storms.

🚧 Current target for reopening: October 2026
