Today we celebrate 250 years of Faith, Freedom, and the American spirit!

As we gather with family and friends to enjoy BBQs, parades, fireworks, and all the traditions that make Independence Day so special, let's also take a moment to honor the brave men and women who have fought to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.

Homemade soft granola cluster bites for dogs with peanut butter and oats

Ingredients:

* 1 cup (90 g) rolled oats (plain, uncooked)
* 1/2 cup (125 g) peanut butter (xylitol-free, unsalted, smooth)
* 1/4 cup (60 ml) unsweetened applesauce (no added sugar)
* 2 tbsp (30 ml) honey (reduced from higher amount for safety)
* 1–2 tbsp (15–30 ml) water (as needed for binding)

Supplements:

* None

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, mix rolled oats and peanut butter until evenly coated.
3. Add applesauce and honey, stirring until the mixture becomes sticky and holds together.
4. Add a small amount of water if needed to help the mixture bind without becoming too wet.
5. Scoop small portions and press lightly into bite-sized clusters to match the image.
6. Place clusters on the tray with slight spacing.
7. Bake for 15–20 minutes until lightly golden and set.
8. Let cool completely on the tray so clusters firm up and hold their shape.

Storage:
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days. Refrigerate up to 7 days. Freeze up to 2 months; thaw before serving.
