TUESDAY TIP | Selling your home in these cold, winter months? Here are a few tips to make your home most appealing to buyers!

🏠 Keep your home warm. Buyers want to feel comfortable when they walk inside from the cold, especially if they’ve been spending extra time outdoors looking at the exterior. 
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🏠Turn all lights (including lamps!) on before showings. A house shows infinitely better when the home is well lit. An agent showing multiple homes may not have time to turn the lights on prior to their showing and with the days being shorter this time of year, this is important!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🏠 Ensure the driveway and all sidewalks/walkways are cleared in the event of snow and ice. Negative distractions happen when a buyer is worried about slipping in snow or getting socks and shoes wet. Lawsuits can happen too if someone falls- best to always play it safe!
