In this project, students explore the work of Pablo Picasso, an artist who loved to experiment with guitars, shapes, and found materials. Picasso believed art didn’t have to look “real” to be meaningful — it could be playful, abstract, and made from everyday things.

This lesson invites students to think like Picasso by drawing, cutting, layering, and collaborating.
