National Thrift Shop Day! 👚🪑♻️

It honors the benefits of secondhand shopping, supports local non-profit and charitable organizations, and promotes environmental sustainability by keeping used items out of landfills. I love all of those things!

Some of my favorite local thrift shops include:

𝐇𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 - 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞 - a global nonprofit organization that builds, renovates, and repairs safe, affordable housing for low-to-moderate-income families. Stores and donation centers located in Lincoln City, Newport and Tillamook!

𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞 - located in Lincoln City, this local business buys and sells new and used children’s items. They also generously donate to family’s in need in the community!

𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 - run by volunteers to help support local companion animals, located in Newport!

𝐒𝐭 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬 - supports emergency housing, food boxes, utility and rent assistance, and job training. Revenue from their thrift stores and recycling efforts directly funds local social services for people in need. Located in Florence!
