⭐ Wash your clothes in cold water.
According to Energy Star over 90% of the energy used by a washing machine is used to heat the water.

⭐ Swap regular light bulbs with LED lights.
You will use less electricity and make your home more environmentally friendly.

⭐ Decorate your house with plants.
Plants are effective for indoor air cleaning and make your home more welcoming.

⭐ Buy a water filter.
Your home will be more eco-friendly if you stop buying plastic water bottles. Help limit the amount of plastic that ends up in landfills by simply using a water filter in your home.

Start the year off right by improving your home and saving money at the same time!

Here are 5 home improvement projects that you can do this winter:
1️⃣ Seal up air leaks around the house. By just sealing up leaks around the windows and doors you reduce airflow which saves money on energy bills!

2️⃣ Insulate the attic, ducts, and the foundation. This keeps heat in place and helps you save money on energy bills!

3️⃣ Change batteries in smoke detectors. It's quick and keeps the smoke detector operating in the worst case scenario.

4️⃣ Switch to LED light bulbs. They use much less energy and last much longer than incandescent lighting.

5️⃣ Add a fresh coat of paint to the walls. During the winter paint is usually much cheaper than in warmer months. So if you're looking to paint, now is the time!
