The Ark-Tex Council of Governments is hiring several part-time TRAX Driver positions in Texarkana, Lamar County, and Titus County! Join a mission-driven team dedicated to providing safe, reliable transportation throughout Northeast Texas.

As a TRAX Driver, you'll transport passengers, assist riders with boarding and exiting (including those needing lift equipment or special assistance), complete vehicle inspections and reports, collect fares, perform basic vehicle servicing, and help ensure passengers arrive safely and on time.

If you have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Texas driver's license, a clean driving record, strong people skills, and can pass an FTA-approved drug test and criminal background check, we'd love to hear from you.

📚 Meet the Teacher Schedule Update 📚

To better support our staff and their families, we have made a slight adjustment to the 1st–5th Grade Meet the Teacher schedule for August 3rd!

🕓 1st–5th Grade will now be held from 4:00–6:00 PM.

Many of our elementary teachers are also parents of students in grades 6–12. This updated schedule allows them time to finish meeting with their elementary families before attending their own child's Meet the Teacher at the secondary campus.

We know our teachers pour so much into the students of Pewitt CISD each day, and we are grateful for the opportunity to support them as parents, too.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us ensure our staff can be present for both our school families and their own families.
