These before-and-after photos show how much of an impact the right hardscape project can make. For this South County homeowner, we installed a new Unilock patio, custom fire pit, and stonework, turning an ordinary backyard into a space they'll enjoy for years to come.

We love the look of natural stone! Here is a behind-the-scenes look at a large multi-phase project we are currently working on.
Pictured is the first of multiple natural boulder retaining walls going up. We are taking delivery of tractor-trailer loads of stone at a time to keep the momentum going. After all the walls are constructed, our team will move on to the finish grading for the entire yard.

Another project in the books for Second Nature Excavation and Hardscapes . ✅

We are proud to have helped spruce up the grounds at the The Historic John B. Busch Brewery Event Center in Washington, MO. We installed native stone edging using materials reclaimed from the property to maintain that authentic, historic aesthetic.

Preserving history, one stone at a time! 🧱✨

The Second Nature Excavation and Hardscapes crew is out at The Historic John B. Busch Brewery Event Center in Washington today. Despite the freezing temperatures, the team is making great progress cleaning up these old flower beds.
To keep the integrity of this beautiful building, we are installing natural stone edging using stones repurposed right from the property. It’s going to match the original foundation perfectly and get the venue ready for future weddings and celebrations.
