Spring is almost here and Phase 2 of my spring garden project is officially underway! 🌱 I’m working on refreshing my front yard landscaping, added new plants, and slowly bringing this space back to life after winter.

If you’re a homeowner, you already know that gardening, yard work, and improving curb appeal takes consistency. One day at a time, plant by plant, I’m getting this yard ready for the season.

Outdoor projects, spring landscaping, and home maintenance are all part of creating a space that feels welcoming and beautiful.

As a realtor and homeowner, I always remind people that curb appeal matters. A well-kept front yard, fresh plants, and thoughtful landscaping can instantly elevate a property’s look and even help boost home value and buyer interest.

Whether you’re preparing to sell or just enjoying your home, spring gardening and outdoor home projects are a great way to invest in your space.

This is only Phase 2 of the garden transformation, so stay tuned because there’s definitely more coming! 🌿🏡✨

March is here and I’m starting where I am. 🌸✨ Getting the front of my home ready for spring is officially underway! From refreshing my flower bed to watering my garden, this is the beginning of my spring home prep and outdoor home maintenance season.

Curb appeal starts with consistency, and as a homeowner and realtor, I believe caring for your property is one of the best real estate investments you can make.

A little yard work, garden care, and exterior home refresh can completely transform the look and feel of your home.

This is just the start — more landscaping updates, spring cleaning, and home improvement projects are coming soon. But progress over perfection always wins.

Whether you’re preparing to sell, improving property value, or simply creating a welcoming entryway, small steps toward homeownership pride matter.

New month, new goals, new growth 🌱 Spring preparation, curb appeal tips, real estate lifestyle, homeowner maintenance, garden inspiration — let’s go Spring!🌺

New Month, New Shenanigans. 💃🏽🏡

Real estate is not a competition — it’s a collaboration. At this open house, we’re dancing and celebrating something bigger than listings and lockboxes.

We’re realtors who understand that there is more than enough business to go around. An abundance mindset, professional relationships, and genuine support for one another will always outperform jealousy and scarcity thinking in this industry.

We are not competitors — we are colleagues, friends, and advocates for our clients and each other.

When realtors cheer for one another, collaborate on deals, and show up with integrity, everybody wins — especially the clients. This is what leadership in real estate looks like. 🏡🔥

Happy March Friends!🌺

Black History Month is more than reflection — it’s recognition of the fight for fair housing, equal access, and the right to own property.

There was a time we couldn’t get a loan, couldn’t secure a mortgage, and were locked out of homeownership through redlining and discrimination.

Today, as a Realtor and real estate educator, I stand on the shoulders of those who marched for equality and housing rights. Black history is real estate history — and ownership is still power.

As we close out this month, I remain committed to real estate education, financial literacy, generational wealth building, property ownership, and advocating for equitable housing opportunities.

From first-time homebuyers to real estate investors, the mission is the same: build equity, protect legacy, and create long-term wealth through real estate. Building wealth — that’s legacy.

I asked, “How do we classify property in Louisiana?” and somehow we took a field trip to Kentucky. 😅 This is exactly why real estate exam review matters.

When you’re preparing for the Louisiana Real Estate Exam, understanding how property is classified under Louisiana Civil Law is not optional. Immovable and movable property — that’s the answer.

If you’re studying for your real estate pre-licensing course or need a structured real estate exam prep review in Louisiana, get in the room.

We cover property classification, ownership, agency, contracts, and the key concepts you MUST know to pass the Louisiana real estate test with confidence. Review isn’t extra — it’s essential.

POV: They say I spend a lot of time in the classroom…and they’re right.

As a real estate instructor and pre-licensing educator, my passion is helping future agents pass the real estate exam, understand real estate law, and build confidence before they ever step into the field.

Whether it’s exam prep, crash reviews, or breaking down contracts and agency relationships, I’m committed to raising the standard of real estate education.

If you’re looking for a dynamic real estate class, focused exam preparation, and practical training that prepares you for the real world of real estate sales, you’re in the right place.

I don’t just teach to pass the test — I teach to build knowledgeable, ethical, and successful real estate professionals.

That’s the way I like it.

Behind the scenes of real estate school: responding to students, supporting clients, and preparing our March class for success.

Teaching doesn’t begin and end at the podium — it’s in the preparation, the follow-up, and the commitment to helping future realtors build strong foundations.

My goal is always the same: clarity, confidence, and competence walking into the exam and into the industry.

If becoming a licensed Realtor is on your vision board for 2026, this is your sign.

Our next two-week pre-licensing course starts March 2nd (two week daily class) and March 3rd (twelve week evening class).

Jump in and take the first step toward your real estate career. Call Donaldson Educational Services at 504.456.1785 to register and secure your seat. March class loading — are you ready?

As the February Day Class Cohort wraps up here at Donaldson, I’m reflecting on the power of community in real estate education.

Over the past two weeks, these future real estate professionals supported, encouraged, and uplifted one another through every lesson, practice question, and breakthrough moment. In real estate school, success isn’t just about passing the exam — it’s about building confidence, collaboration, leadership skills, and a strong foundation for a thriving real estate career.

Watching this cohort grow reminded me that community is a competitive advantage in the real estate industry. When aspiring realtors learn together, study together, and celebrate wins together, they build habits that carry into client relationships, networking, and long-term business success.

Here’s to this cohort and the power of learning, connection, and real estate training done with heart.
