Sellers: how does the current market (interest rates, home prices, etc affect you?

•Interest rates are on average currently between 6-7% meaning some buyers are on a tighter budget & need the sellers to assist with the buyers closing costs (this amount can be negotiated). It can also be applied to buying the buyers interest rate down.

•Yes, home prices increased rapidly over the last two years, however pricing your home for the current market is key. Important to mainly focus on comps from the last 6 months.

•Marketing/promo is vital-an agent sticking a sign in the yard and praying it will sell will likely mean it stays on the market longer. (Open houses, broker tours, mailers, ads, etc are necessary)
•
