Education should be a seamless journey from the first day of Kindergarten to high school graduation. 🗳️

I am excited to share Pillar 2 of my roadmap for VS24: Building the Bridge.

Our childrens educational experience is a 13 year mission. To ensure our students are fully prepared for the challenges of 7th grade and beyond, we must strengthen the transition between our elementary schools and the high school district.

I am advocating for concrete steps to make this journey more successful for every child. Swipe through to see my plan for:

🌍 Expanding World Language by introducing Spanish instruction in Kindergarten through Grade 2.

🌉 Year Long Transition Programs that align our 6th grade curriculum with High School expectations.

🏀 Increased After School Opportunities to keep our students engaged and building friendships in a safe environment.

By focusing on the entire 13 year experience, we can ensure our students leave VS24 with the confidence and skills they need to lead. Let’s build that bridge together.
