We honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the families and communities forever changed by that day.

Twenty-five years later, New York continues to remind us what resilience looks like: neighbors standing beside neighbors, strangers helping strangers, and a city finding strength in one another.

May we never forget those we lost, those who served, and the extraordinary courage shown in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

Football season is BACK! 🏈

The jerseys are out, the rivalries are alive and Sundays officially have plans again. You already know I’ll be cheering for my Buffalo Bills, but I can still show our Carolina Panthers a little love.

Talk about taking game day on the road. ☘️🏈💙

We traded Chapel Hill for Dublin and joined a crew of 19 Tar Heel fans for the UNC vs. TCU game at Aviva Stadium and what a trip it was.

My husband is a UNC alum, our youngest is currently a sophomore there, and we were surrounded by longtime friends and fellow Carolina alumni, so this one felt extra special. Add in a Tar Heel win in Ireland and I’d say the trip was a pretty big success. 😉

Great friends, great football, an unforgettable setting and plenty of Carolina blue across the pond.

Say CHEESE, Cary! 🧀

Only in North Carolina could we turn pimento cheese into an entire festival... and I am absolutely here for it.

The Pimento Cheese Festival in Downtown Cary has become one of those wonderfully quirky local traditions that makes the Triangle such a fun place to call home. Think pimento cheese classics alongside creations you probably never saw coming, including cheesesteaks, beignets and even pimento cheese ice cream!

And it’s not just about the food. Past festivities have included live music, games and family friendly activities throughout beautiful Downtown Cary Park.

It’s another great reminder that when you live in the Triangle, there is ALWAYS something fun happening right in your backyard.

50 Years of Lazy Daze!

Some traditions just become part of what makes a community feel like home, and Cary’s Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival is officially celebrating **50 years** this weekend! 🎉

More than **250 artists from 22 states** are headed to Downtown Cary for two days filled with original art, live demonstrations, food, entertainment across four stages and plenty for the kids.

Why is everyone talking about Apex? The numbers tell quite a story.

Apex is now home to an estimated 85,000+ residents, after adding roughly 4,000 new residents in just one fiscal year. And according to Census estimates, the town’s population grew nearly 25% between 2020 and 2025.

The housing market reflects that demand, too. The median Apex home sold for approximately $617K this spring, while Downtown Apex has recently seen sales pushing the median into the $1M+ range.

But if you know Apex, the growth makes sense.

Historic downtown charm. Great access to the rest of the Triangle. New development. Restaurants and local businesses. Established neighborhoods alongside new construction. And that increasingly hard-to-find combination of small-town personality with big-city convenience.

Another mixed use development is on the way, adding to the momentum reshaping the heart of our city.

Projects like this are about more than new buildings. They bring new places to live, dine, gather and experience Raleigh, while continuing to strengthen the walkability and energy that make downtown such an exciting part of the Triangle.

As a Realtor, I love keeping an eye on what’s next because development matters. It can influence neighborhoods, lifestyle, property values and where future opportunities emerge.

🌳 Raleigh is thinking BIG about connectivity.

Meet The Oakline, a proposed tree lined promenade that could create a beautiful new connection between Dorothea Dix Park and the heart of Downtown Raleigh. Think more walkability, more green space and another way to experience two of the city’s greatest destinations.

Projects like this are exactly why I keep such a close eye on what’s happening beyond just the housing market. Parks, connectivity, development and quality of life all play a role in what makes a community desirable and where people want to live.

Raleigh continues to invest in the kind of lifestyle that makes this area such an exciting place to call home.

I’ll definitely be watching this one.
