In the last couple of months, our family lost several loved ones (including our God-daughter 😔) But this is not a sympathy post- it’s one of gratitude, of promise, and a call to action.
Thank you to those of you that have reached out privately. I haven’t yet subscribed to the idea of auto-replies. I believe that authentic connections and real communication still matter, and i look forward to getting with each of you personally. Our partners and investors can always reach us by cell, that accessibility and accountability will remain constant.
When we lose friends and family, it seems unfair that the world keeps turning with such a crucial piece missing. Yet, in business, all operations continue moving full speed ahead. And so does our passion and commitment to our endeavors.
What has awed me during this time is the strength of our network and the reliability of our business family. (And the stamina of my husband and business partner!)
When your team is built on trust and transparent communication, forward momentum doesn’t rely on constant public visibility or stretching yourself beyond capacity. With a reliable team and proven systems in place, we all have peace of mind knowing the cogs will keep turning as planned, regardless of what life throws at us.
People are the most important aspect of anything we’ll ever do. Which brings me to my call to action - no, it’s not to subscribe to my newsletter. 🙂
Go and love people exactly where they’re at ❤️🔥
If you love someone, tell them. Thinking of someone? Call them. Check on your people, especially the strong ones. Mentor, minister. Be the business partner you want to have. Don’t cancel that lunch, there may not be another. Do something for someone that can’t do anything for you. Have compassion and empathy. Listen intently. Cherish each hello and goodbye. Don’t assume you have time.
Let love spill over into every facet of every interaction you have. The success of the human race depends on it.
