For Sue, it was a quiet moment in the Smokies with her daughters that inspired a lifelong dream. 🌄Today, Moody Moon Ridge is that dream brought to life: a community tucked into the mountains where beauty, nature, and quality time with loved ones come together🏡🫂

This is NOT a midlife crisis! Leaving Chicago to build a development in the rural Tennessee Smokies is completely normal. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Sunsets hit a little different from the front porch at Moody Moon Ridge 🌄
Rocking chairs, mountain air, and nothing but the sounds of nature around you — this is the kind of peace you don’t just visit, you come home to.

Some places change the course of your life. 🌄

For Sue, the Smokies have always held a sense of wonder, peace, and possibility. What began as years of family memories in these mountains slowly became a vision for something lasting—a place where others could experience the same beauty, connection, and quiet magic that inspired her from the very beginning.

Moody Moon Ridge is more than a mountain community. It’s the realization of a lifelong dream rooted in the landscapes that first felt like home. 🌲 Sue’s commitment to returning to nature and connections with loved ones is also expressed in her new project at Moody Moon Ridge: 🌙🌄
