⏰It's that time of year again! Homestead Exemption Season! Why do we say that at the Okaloosa County Property Appraiser's Office? Because the deadline is fast-approaching. If you have not applied yet for your Homestead Exemption (or any other Exemptions for which you might qualify) you are in luck! The deadline every year is March 1.

⌛️But don't wait until the last minute! We don't want you to forget or have to wait in a long line. Come in any time Monday thru Friday, 8AM to 5PM at our Shalimar or Crestview office, and complete your application with one of our Customer Service/Exemptions Specialists. It just takes about 10 minutes.

💻Or if you are able to navigate our website okaloosapa.com you can click on Property Search under Quick Links, and pull up your Parcel Summary; then scroll down to the "Homestead Exemption Application" link. Click, fill out and submit the application electronically. Make sure to print a copy once you've submitted it.
