Fall isn’t just a season here — it’s an experience. And nothing says crisp Fall air like a trip to the apple orchard! 🍏

With a big family in tow, we love that our local orchards are an easy and affordable adventure that doesn’t require a long drive. Plus fresh air and primarily outdoor activities make for a great way to get the wiggles out. (And no matter what – the experience ends with apple pie, so we call that a massive WIN!) 🍎

My favorite Fall tradition? The Parade of Homes! ✨
A few weeks ago we headed out to Hugo to check out some beautiful custom builds!

No matter your budget, the Parade is always a fantastic way to get a sense for trends in new construction, as well as design and decor inspiration from top, local designers.

Here’s what stood out most:

1️⃣ Kitchen cabinets are (finally!) warming up! We saw more wood, more color – and we’re so here for it!

2️⃣ Matching metals? Not required! One finish no longer has to follow you through the entire house. And honestly, mixing finishes made these homes feel collected — not coordinated from a catalog.

3️⃣ LVP still reigned, but it wasn’t always on the floor! We spotted LVP used as an accent to offset some recessed ceilings.
