Okay… THIS one has been a long time coming.

If you’ve been around ‘Ike Loa for a while, you already know about Portugal. It’s one of those candles you guys have never quite let us forget about.

So… we brought it back.

But we didn’t just bring back the old Portugal. We reimagined it completely for the holidays, with a new scent, new label and new packaging.

Soft tropical fig and sea salt are at the heart of it, layered with bright Portuguese citrus, orange blossom, green olive, coastal pine, warm cedar and a touch of amber.

It feels like Portugal should feel. Fresh Atlantic air, sun warmed citrus and fig trees, a little greenery and that beautiful warmth that makes you want to stay awhile.

And honestly? We think you’re going to love this version.

Happy Aloha Friday!

Super short today… I know I’ve been quiet! I’ve been busy fulfilling our resort orders, so it’s been a WEEK! And thank you for keeping us busy enough to create all those holes in the shop. 😂 We’ll be refilling them all this weekend!

One of the biggest myths in business is that everyone in the same industry is your competition.

I just don’t believe that.

Small business is hard. Really, really hard. And when you’re in it, you know the late nights, the reinvestment, the risk, the decisions, the things that don’t work, and how much of yourself goes into building something from an idea.

So when you see someone doing what you do, I think you should see someone who understands the hustle. Not someone you need to knock down.

Tonight, three candlers sat around a table at Get Toasted, and I loved every minute of it.

Three women. Three businesses. Three different stories, styles and ways of doing things.

And instead of competition, I saw community.

Women sharing knowledge, talking shop, laughing, asking questions and genuinely wanting to see each other succeed.

Because women supporting women shouldn’t be conditional on whether we sell the same thing.

There is room for all of us.

Different brands. Different customers. Different stories. Different dreams.

The table is big. We can all eat.

And honestly, business gets a whole lot more beautiful when we stop worrying about who is sitting next to us and start making room for them, too.

Tonight was a really good reminder of that.

Thank you, Get Toasted , for giving us a place to gather, and thank you to the two women who shared the table with me tonight. I’m grateful for the conversation, the laughs and the reminder that there is so much more to gain from lifting each other up than tearing each other down.

There’s enough room here for all of us. Always.

Toasted Marshmallow Gelato is BACK IN STOCK!

Now, I know we’ve been giving Copper a whole lot of attention lately… and listen, she deserves it. But let’s not forget we have 17 Fall scents.

On this Aloha Friday, we pause.

We pause to remember September 11, 2001, a day when the world seemed to stop, and life as we knew it changed forever.

We remember the thousands of lives lost that day. We remember the families who lost mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, friends and loved ones. We remember the first responders who ran toward danger, the heroes who gave everything, and the countless people whose lives were forever changed.

We remember those who lost not only loved ones, but their sense of safety, their homes, their communities and pieces of a life they could never get back.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember.

May we never forget the lives behind the numbers. May we never forget the courage, compassion and kindness that emerged in the darkest hours. And may we continue to carry those lessons forward by choosing love, extending kindness and caring for one another.

Today, we remember.
Today, we honor.
Today, we pause.

With aloha, we remember them all.
