Seems reasonable to me.

I am having a problem with Microsoft billing. I followed all directions to resolve the issue with no luck whatsoever. So, naturally, I went to their support chat as directed which gave me useless information but said I could fill out some information and receive a call from a support person. Did as directed once again and got a nice little graphic showing the status of my request. Eventually, I did get a call from an unknown number which rang once and went to voice mail before I could grab it. Here is a copy of the v-mail transcript:
She from Microsoft Hello Ken, this is Priyansh calling from Microsoft support. This call is regarding your ticket number ending with 6187 regarding the payment issue regarding this concern I will request you please show me availability so we can schedule another call thank you for choosing Microsoft. have a great day take care bye-bye

No way, of course to “show availability “ no way to call back. Reached out to MICROSOFT via web site, nothing of value there. Tried calling, got a bot, which after answering a bunch of questions, told me no representative could help and referred me to AKA.MS/CHARGE, where there is no useful information so, I called back… Evidently, they retain your number and simply refer you back to AKA site where there is no help available. Bottom line, I may lose an account I’ve had with Microsoft for over 20 years because they can’t be bothered with helping me pay them. I intent to post this every where I can as often as possible in the hope, however unlikely, somebody at Microsoft might notice and do something… Thank you for your attention to this matter.

For the last several days I have been smelling an intermittent chemical odor, it seems to be accompanied by stinging eyes and a headache.. Can anyone else smell it? Is it time to notify the city? Does anyone know how to deal with this sort of thing??

I am a Real Estate Broker, that is my profession. To become a Real Estate Broker, one must take a variety of classes and pass a state exam. The state issues the Brokers license which allows a person to contract with the general public on matters pertaining to the ownership of land and that which is upon, and in some cases beneath the land, among other things. The Brokers license also allows the license holder to employ persons holding a Real Estate Sales License to engage with the public soliciting Real Estate business under the supervision of a Licensed Broker. (Way to simple and sketchy but in broad strokes the way it is).

I am also a Realtor, a member of the National Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, the Southland Association of Realtors…. A member of these organizations is called a Realtor. Not all Brokers or Sales Licensees are Realtors… All Realtors are state licensed real estate practitioners of one sort or another.

The word is pronounced Real-tor..

Imagine my dismay when, I attended a meeting the other day. A meeting sponsored by and for members of an AOR (Association of Realtors) and consistently hearing people who are Realtors or work in allied professions, (escrow, mortgage, title, etc) pronouncing it Realater… Sheesh.. If you are going to make your living at a profession, interact with the general public, at least… At the very least.. Know how to pronounce your own professional designation! Thank you. Rant finished.
Realtor Real tor...

Finally finished scanning in the Gas Company's gas leak info from the Southland Regional Association of Realtors presentation last Friday. If you want a copy, let me know here, or, drop me a line at [email protected] with your email address and I'll send it to you.

Yesterday, I went to a meeting at SRAR (Southland Regional Association of Realtors) about the gas leak in Aliso Canyon, presented by the Gas Company. The Broker in me, of course, concerned with liability issues, the listing/selling agent in me concerned with how this might affect prices, buyer concerns, market activity and the human in me, jumping up and down shouting, the sky is falling, the sky is falling. (Turns out it isn’t. Methane is lighter than air so, if anything, the sky is rising… But, I digress.). I will be scanning the presentation material during the day to make ready for a presentation at Out West Marketing next week. If you need, or want so take a look at what the Gas Company has to say, let me know and I’ll send you some info. Send your request to [email protected].
