A major investment in the future of advanced manufacturing in Albany County.

Advance Albany County Alliance and NSH USA recently celebrated the company’s $12 million investment in its Menands manufacturing campus, supported by a $908,000 Albany County STAGE Grant.

The investment includes a new 18,000-square-foot manufacturing facility that expands NSH USA’s production capabilities and creates and retains 137 highly skilled manufacturing jobs.

With roots in Albany County dating back to 1910, NSH USA is a great example of how supporting our existing businesses helps strengthen the local economy. Economic development is not only about attracting new companies. It is also about helping the businesses already here grow, innovate and continue investing in Albany County.

Through the STAGE Grant Program, Advance Albany County Alliance is helping support private investment, good jobs and more sustainable technologies.

Congratulations to the entire NSH USA team on this exciting next chapter!

🚗I-90 and I-87, our two major highways, provide east-west and north-south access to dozens of major cities within and outside New York.
🛫Albany International Airport services nonstop flight to 25 destinations in 13 states, Canada and Washington, D.C., and is a dedicated hub for cargo operations.
🛤️Three Class 1 railroads — CSX, Norfolk Southern (NS), and Canadian Pacific (CP) — and passenger rail service with Amtrak, all operate in Albany County.
⚓The deep water marine terminals at the Port of Albany, Upstate New York’s largest public port and logistics hub, and the 450-acre Port of Coeymans serve cargo ships, host industrial development and are positioned to assist offshore wind and other major manufacturing, offering a critical connection point for goods and services that support a competitive economy.
