Some properties keep you busy from the moment you pull into the driveway, and this Ocean Springs home was definitely one of them.

From the main house to the tiny home tucked away in the backyard, there was plenty for Harris Home Inspections to inspect. Because when you're buying a property with additional structures, those spaces deserve the same careful attention as the home itself.

☀️ Your AC survived summer. Now what?

On the Mississippi Gulf Coast, your air conditioner doesn’t exactly get a summer vacation.

After months of fighting heat, humidity and long run times, October is a good time to give the system a little attention before we finally get those cooler days.

Change the filter. Check around the indoor unit for moisture. Make sure the condensate drain is flowing properly. Clear debris from around the outdoor unit. And if your system has been struggling, making new noises or running differently, don’t ignore it just because summer is ending.

A little attention now can help you catch small issues before your AC is asked to do it all over again next year.

Homes don’t maintain themselves. Knowing what to watch for is part of protecting the one you own.
